EWENIQUE SHEEP AND PRODUCE

CSA

(COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE)

We would like to invite you to become a vital part of a unique model of local agriculture in whose roots reach back 30 years to Japan. This arrangement, called teikei in Japanese, translates to putting the farmer's face on food. Here in the US we call this partnership Community Supported Agriculture or CSA for short.

We are currently recruiting new CSA members in Columbus and Seymour To enjoy the abundance of our farm with fields in Bartholomew County

WHAT IS A CSA?
A CSA or Community Supported Agriculture is a partnership of mutual commitment between a farm and a community of supporters which provides a direct link between our garden and your table. Supporters help cover a farm's yearly operating budget by purchasing a share of the season's harvest. CSA members make a commitment to support the farm throughout the season, and assume the costs, risks, and bounty of growing food along with the farmer. Members help pay for seed, water, equipment maintenance, fuel, labor, etc. In return, the farm provides, to the best of its ability, the most diverse selection of healthy, seasonal, fresh produce and fruit that our Indiana soils and climate can support. Becoming a member creates a responsible relationship between people and the food they eat, the land on which it is grown, and those who grow it.
